Merrin Norman

Merrin Norman is the Director of the Digital Markets Branch at the ACCC, a position they have held since 2018, also serving as Assistant Director and Acting Director. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Director at the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency from 2013 to 2018 and as a Policy Officer at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations from 2012 to 2013. Merrin holds a Bachelor of International Studies and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University, and a Master of Public Policy & Governance from UNSW. They also participated in a university exchange program at the University of Massachusetts, focusing on Political Science.
