Yuelan Chen

Yuelan Chen is a Principal Economist at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), where they provide economic inputs on regulating monopoly infrastructures and offer technical advice for the Australian Energy Regulator's rate of return reviews. Previously, they held roles such as Economic Analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury, Senior Advisor at the Australian Energy Market Commission, and Senior Economist at the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Yuelan obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Melbourne and an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Melbourne Business School. Their earlier experiences include research positions and a range of secondments focused on economic modeling and policy.
