Ed Smith is the Global Head of Sales at AccelByte, leading global sales and go-to-market strategy for the company. They have held significant roles at Amazon Web Services, including Head of Sales for Game Tech in both the Nordics and EMEA, where they managed sales strategy and team-building efforts across various regions. Prior to their tenure at AWS, Ed progressed through multiple sales positions at EMC and specialized in startup account management at AWS. In addition to their current role, Ed owns Smith Management BV, a consultancy focused on technology solutions for the games industry. An avid gamer and traveler, Ed has been passionate about gaming since the days of Command & Conquer and Starcraft.
