Matthew South has been in the software engineering industry since 2006. Matthew began their career as a Software Engineer at Rare Ltd. In 2014, they moved to preciousbluedot ltd as a Software Developer. In 2018, they founded Blockplay Limited and served as an Engineer. In 2020, they joined Frontier Developments as a Principal Gameplay Programmer. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at AccelByte Inc.

Matthew South attended The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Computer Science in the field of Computer Science.
