Shin Hamanaka

Shin Hamanaka is the Director of Business Development at AccelByte, where the focus is on assisting developers with innovative backend services for game launches since January 2023. Prior to this, Shin served as the Senior Business Development Manager for AWS Game Tech at Amazon Web Services from October 2017 to January 2023, emphasizing strategic partnerships and business opportunities within the gaming sector. Shin's earlier experience includes a tenure at Microsoft, where roles ranged from Director of 3PP APAC, Global Publishing to Xbox Account Manager, managing relationships with key game publishers. Shin's career also includes positions at Compaq Computer K.K. as a Product Marketing Manager and at Sega of America as a Licensing Manager. Shin holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a degree in Economics from Waseda University.
