John Whitmore

John Whitmore has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. John began their career at Maryville Technologies as a Systems Engineer, where they provided technical consulting and managed projects for clients. John then moved on to DST Systems, where they served as a Project Designer and later as the Manager of the Infrastructure Maintenance Team, responsible for the systems administrators and 24/7 on-call support.

In 2010, John joined IBM as an XIV Technical Storage Specialist, driving revenue by serving as a technical consultant to clients and designing high-performance storage solutions. John then transitioned to Dell EMC as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they continued to win technical battles and ensure successful implementations.

John's career took him to Hortonworks, where they worked as a Solutions Engineer, driving revenue by solving clients' problems and leading the technical relationship with clients. John later joined Cloudera as a Senior Solutions Engineer and eventually became the Solutions Engineering Manager, leading a team of pre-sales engineers and supporting customers through company reorganizations and mergers.

Currently, John is working at Acceldata as a Senior Solutions Engineer, utilizing their expertise to provide solutions to customers.

John Whitmore obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Kansas from 1987 to 1991.
