Scott Arebaugh

Scott Arebaugh possesses extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, beginning as a Licensed Control Room Reactor Operator at Nextera Energy from January 1988 to July 2001, where responsibilities included the safe operation of a nuclear power plant and oversight of core reactivity and turbine generator operations. Subsequent roles included Plant Equipment Operator and Control Room Supervisor, emphasizing equipment reliability and crew management. From April 2008 to September 2019 at FPL Energy, Scott served as Operations Shift Manager, leading control room teams to ensure compliance with regulations. Positions at NextEra Energy included Assistant Operations Manager and Operations Shift Manager, with involvement in training and evaluation processes.
