Darrell Scott is an experienced leader in media investments and social entrepreneurship, having held various roles at Accelerate Change Network from June 2012 to March 2020, including Vice President of Media Investments & Acquisitions, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and Venture Manager. At New Media Ventures, from January 2024 to August 2024, Darrell served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, advising start-up founders dedicated to advancing democracy. As Co-Founder and CEO of PushBlack from January 2015 to July 2020, Darrell played a pivotal role in driving subscriber growth and revenue for a platform with 5 million subscribers focused on Black history and news. Additionally, Darrell was a Fellow at Echoing Green from January 2017 to January 2019, contributing to initiatives aimed at solving global challenges. Darrell holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an Ethnic Studies concentration from Davidson College and participated in the Junior Summer Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, as part of the Public Policy and International Affairs Fellowship Program.
