Matt Smith

Matt Smith has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent position being Human Resources Director at Accelerated Learning Solutions since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Loyola Academy from 2020 to 2022. Before these roles, they held various positions at Wheeling Park District, including Superintendent of Human Resources and Risk Management, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources & Risk Manager, and HR Clerk from 2013 to 2020. Matt Smith attended the University of Iowa from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History & Psychology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Human Resources. In November 2016, they earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Then, in September 2019, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the same institution.
