Andy Aicken

Andy Aicken has over 30 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Andy began their career in 1991 as an Operations Analyst for the UK Ministry of Defence. In 1992, they moved to EASAMS as an Operations Analyst, where they developed software for simulation models. In 1993, they returned to the UK Ministry of Defence as an Operations Analyst, Industrial Sponsorship. In 1997, they joined Telesoft Technologies as a Software Engineer, and was promoted to Product Manager, Engineering Team Leader, and Engineering Manager. In 2006, they moved to Squire Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2008, they returned to Telesoft Technologies as a Delivery Manager and Engineering Manager. In 2012, they joined Magicard Ltd as a Software Team Leader and Embedded Software Design Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they joined AccelerComm Ltd as a Principal Software Engineer.

Andy Aicken attended Belfast Royal Academy from 1983 to 1990, followed by Durham University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Physics.
