Stan Claes

Stan Claes has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Stan is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Accelleran, a position they have held since July 2021. Stan is also a Co-Founder and Member of the Board at Accelleran since February 2013 and April 2016, respectively. Additionally, they served as the Chairman of the Board at Accelleran from March 2013 to March 2016.

Prior to their current role, Stan Claes was the Managing Partner at Stonos Invest bvba, starting in November 2012. Before that, they were the Owner of Stonos bvba from April 2011. Stan also held the position of Managing Partner at Stonos Construct bvba from January 2013 to June 2020.

Stan Claes gained valuable experience in the telecommunications industry through their roles at Technicolor as the Director of the Femto Group from July 2007 to April 2011, and at Thomson Telecom as a Product Manager DSL from January 2002 to June 2007.

Stan started their career at Alcatel, where they held various positions including Product Manager DSL from May 2000 to December 2001, DSL Systems Architect from April 1998 to April 2000, and DSL Research Engineer from April 1996 to April 1998.

Prior to their industry experience, Stan Claes worked as a Research Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from September 1994 to March 1996.

Stan Claes attended Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1989 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. After completion of this degree, in 1998, they furthered their education at Alcatel University / INSEAD, where they obtained a Post Graduate degree in Marketing Telecommunications.
