Marcel Baumgartner

Marcel Baumgartner is currently the Team Leader of Engineering Mechatronics & Sensors at Accelleron (ABB Turbocharging), a position they have held since 2012, where they focus on personnel management, technical leadership, and project management. Prior to this role, Marcel worked at ABB from 2006 to 2012 as a Development Engineer for radial turbochargers, contributing to system integration concepts and product development. Their early experience includes a brief internship at Wärtsilä in 2004, where they worked on creating a mean value model of an internal combustion engine. Marcel earned a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, completing their studies in 2006, following a Matura Typus C from Kantonsschule Heerbrugg.
