Thomas Leonard is a leader and expert in turbomachinery and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), currently serving as the Head of Fluid Mechanics & Component Design at Accelleron since 2025. They previously held positions as a Senior Development Engineer and Development Engineer at IHI Charging Systems International GmbH from 2017 to 2024, where they focused on the design and optimization of automotive turbochargers. In 2009, Thomas completed a summer internship as a Design Engineer at 4 Hungar Agri-Tech, specializing in sheet metal components for the agricultural industry. Thomas obtained a First Class Honours MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.
