Ishan Tickoo

Ishan Tickoo has a diverse range of work experience. Ishan began their career as a Data Science Intern at the Center for Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, MIET in 2017, where they performed data cleansing operations and developed a module for predicting student placement.

In 2020, Ishan had multiple internships. Ishan served as a Database Intern at OregonASK, working on integrating new registration systems and receiving positive feedback for successful integration. Ishan also worked as a Full Stack Engineering Intern at STEM-Away, leading a team and developing a custom Discourse Theme for the company's website. Additionally, they were a Machine Learning Intern at STEM-Away, where they constructed a topic recommendation system and achieved high accuracy in forum classification. Ishan also completed a web scraper project.

During the same year, Ishan was a Web Development Intern at REV Tech, improving the company's website and creating a wireframe for Change Management using Adobe XD. Ishan also conducted code testing and debugging.

In 2020, Ishan also held a role as a Decision Support Group Analyst at New York University, analyzing reports and performing data visualizations using Tableau. Ishan communicated with clients to resolve issues and forward requests.

Currently, Ishan is working as an Associate Consultant in Cloud Applications at Accellor, previously known as PopcornApps. The duration of their tenure is ongoing.

Ishan Tickoo completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Ishan then pursued a Master of Science degree (MS) in Computer Science from New York University, completing it from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Ishan obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. Ishan earned the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification from Salesforce in December 2021. Ishan also completed the ADVANCED Data Science Bootcamp and the Data Science Bootcamp from NYU Tandon Career Services in May and April 2021, respectively.

Ishan has further expanded their knowledge through online courses and certifications. Ishan completed the "Introduction to Cybersecurity Tools & Cyber Attacks" course from Coursera in October 2020, as well as the "Palo Alto Networks Academy Cybersecurity Foundation" course from the same platform. Ishan also obtained certificates in "Building a Personal Portfolio with Django" from LinkedIn in August 2020 and "Recommendation and Classification Systems using Natural Language Processing" from STEM-Away in June 2020.

Furthermore, Ishan gained expertise in "Applied Machine Learning: Algorithms" from LinkedIn in April 2020 and "Designing RESTful APIs" from LinkedIn in February 2020. Ishan holds a Wheebox Employability Skills Test Certificate from Wheebox, obtained in November 2017, and an Socrata Essentials Badge Exam certificate from Socrata, obtained in July 2020.
