Ryu Calderon has over 8 years of experience in user experience design and product management. Their most recent role was as a Product Manager at Accelo starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief Marketing Officer at Nihon Ichi, starting in 2020. From March 2020 to June 2023, Ryu worked as a Sr. UX Designer and Product Owner at FlyAkeed, overseeing a team of 8 developers for product delivery. Before that, they spent 5 years at Leandev Inc as a User Experience Designer (from May 2015 to February 2020). Prior to that, Ryu was a Web/Graphic Design Apprentice at Onsor Mosha for a brief period in 2018.

Ryu Calderon attended Lyceum of the Philippines University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a degree in Multimedia Arts with a focus on Digital Arts. Additionally, Ryu has obtained two certifications from Productboard Academy, both titled "Getting started with Productboard," in June 2023.
