Ben Shorten

Ben Shorten is the Managing Director and Banking & Capital Markets Lead for Finance Risk Compliance at Accenture, where they lead the Digital Risk & Compliance practice for financial services clients in North America and the Data Privacy practice regionally. With extensive experience collaborating with organizations across the US, Canada, UK, Japan, and continental Europe, Ben specializes in regulatory compliance and risk frameworks. They co-author Accenture's Global Risk and Global Compliance Studies and frequently speak at industry conferences. Currently, Ben serves as a student mentor at the Fairfield University Charles F. Dolan School of Business and works as an umpire for the United States Tennis Association. They earned a First Class BA Hons. Degree in Economics from Durham University in the UK.
