Deborah McBrearty

Deborah McBrearty currently serves as the London Markets Insurance Lead at Accenture from September 2023 to February 2025, previously holding the position of Insurance Lead at Accenture Aotearoa NZ. As a Committee Member for Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) since March 2024, McBrearty contributes to the organization's mission to enhance the representation of female leaders in the banking and finance sector through various initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager of Sales & Relationships at QBE Insurance for a brief period in early 2023, and as Strategic Director at WTW from February 2022 to January 2023, where collaboration with the executive leadership team focused on the growth of the insurance broking and risk advisory business. A significant tenure at Tokio Marine HCC from May 2011 to February 2022 as Global Head of Transaction Risk Insurance involved establishing a lucrative new line of business in M&A. McBrearty's educational credentials comprise a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from the University of Auckland, complemented by a Company Directors' Course at the Institute of Directors in New Zealand in March 2022.
