Derek Simpson is the Managing Director and Director of Legal Services for Accenture in the UK and Ireland, where they oversee client contracting and coordinate legal support across the region. With over 25 years of experience negotiating and drafting contracts in the information technology sector, Derek has developed a strong capability for adapting to evolving business needs. Previously, Derek served as European General Counsel at Perot Systems Europe Limited and Senior Legal Adviser at Cable & Wireless Plc Global Networks Division. They hold a Bachelor of Arts with a conjoint degree in Law and German from the University of Auckland. Currently, Derek is focused on expanding Accenture’s Security practice and developing AI tools for the global legal team.
