John H. Schmidt

John H. Schmidt is a Senior Managing Director leading Accenture's Global Aerospace & Defense Practice, where they drive digital transformation across various business functions. With extensive experience at Accenture since 2013 and previous roles at The Chicago Corporation and Underwriters Laboratories, Schmidt has developed expertise in advisory services and corporate strategy. They also held a position as Vice President at Capgemini Consulting, focusing on global transformation and mergers. Currently, Schmidt is pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, they prioritize family, engage in triathlon training and softball, and support youth initiatives through the not-for-profit Youth Guidance in Chicago.
