Julia Jessen

Julia Jessen currently serves as the Avanade Global General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Accenture since March 2025. Prior to this, Julia held various leadership roles at Avanade, including Global General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and Executive & General Counsel for Europe, from October 2012 to March 2025. Julia's legal career includes serving as General Counsel EMEA and Legal Director at Sony Mobile Communications, where leadership of a team of 14 attorneys and management of privacy and security matters were key responsibilities from October 2010 to October 2012. Julia also worked at Amazon as Associate General Counsel and Director Legal, overseeing M&A and geographic expansion from May 2008 to October 2010, and served as Legal Counsel at Intel from 1996 to 2008, focusing on WiMAX and EMEA privacy issues. Julia's academic credentials include an LL.M. in International IT and IP Laws from UCL and two law degrees from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, complemented by Bar Exam training at the District Court Munich.
