Laya Sedghy

Laya Sedghy is a seasoned Risk Management and Project Controls leader with over 15 years of experience in both public and private sectors. They currently serve as the Risk and Estimating Director at Accenture, leading a team in risk management and strategic decision-making for substantial infrastructure projects. Laya's extensive background includes significant roles as a Risk Manager on Canadian mega-scale infrastructure endeavors, including various LRT and rail expansion projects. They hold a PhD in Building Engineering Risk Management from Concordia University, where they developed advanced risk forecasting and asset management models.
