Chris Nicol is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions and educational technology. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has been involved in creating hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, following a role as Firmware Engineer where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed for similar products. Prior experience includes serving as an Electronics Contractor at MindFuel.ca, focusing on electronics design for educational devices, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting electronic circuit courses. Earlier work at Grindcom involved developing control systems for forestry harvester units, encompassing circuit design and software development. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
