Ren Zhang

Ren Zhang is a seasoned data science and artificial intelligence expert with extensive leadership experience across various industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at Accenture in the Gen AI Center of Excellence, Ren previously held the role of Director of Data Science at Amazon, leading a substantial team and spearheading initiatives like the Brand Program and Selling Partner Insights. Prior experience includes positions as Enterprise Chief Data Scientist at BMO Financial Group, VP of Data Science at Prudential Financial, Executive Director of Data Science and Innovation at Commonwealth Bank, and multiple roles at American Express, where significant contributions were made in risk management and customer relationship analytics. Ren holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Probability and Statistics from Peking University.
