Ryan Oakes

Chair, Global Health & Public Services Industry Practices at Accenture

Ryan Oakes is Accenture’s global Health and Public Services industry practices chair. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

In his more than 25 years at Accenture, Ryan has supported government and education clients in meeting their vital missions to educate, protect, nurture and serve. His previous roles include leading the North America Public Sector, Global Human Services and the North America Higher Education practices.

Over his career he has worked with national, state, county and city governments, and universities around the world, helping them reimagine and redesign solutions for the digital age; design and implement complex, largescale and mission-critical solutions; and drive change across technology and service delivery.

Ryan also serves as the Hartford office managing director and a board member for the Business and Higher Education Forum, a non-profit focused on skilling diverse workforces in partnership between the business and education community. Ryan works with the NYC CEO Jobs Council to design and implement strategies for creating new pathways for underserved talent.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Connecticut College.
