Silvia Catalan

Silvia Catalan is a data scientist with a PhD in Physics who has held various research and teaching positions. They were a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Hertfordshire, focusing on the history of the Milky Way through white dwarf stars. Silvia's research experience includes roles at the Université de La Laguna, Institut de Ciències de l'Espai, and the University of Warwick, where they contributed to projects involving high-speed imaging and data analysis in astrophysics. Currently, they serve as a Data Science Analytics Manager at Accenture, applying their expertise in data science and analytics. Silvia also completed postgraduate coursework in Data Science and Big Data at Universitat de Barcelona.
