Tom Swift

Tom Swift is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in research, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Tom gained foundational experience as a Research Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and later served as a Teaching Assistant in Managerial Economics and Business Strategies at The Johns Hopkins University. A role as an MBA Consultant at General Motors preceded an extensive tenure at ION, where Tom held multiple positions, including Chief of Staff to the CFO and Head of Corporate Development. Currently, Tom is a Senior Strategy Consultant at Accenture, leading high-impact strategic initiatives in decarbonization. As the Founder and CEO of EcoSimmer Outdoors, Tom successfully designed and launched the world's first electric backpacking stove, driving significant revenue growth. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
