Rick Derse

Rick Derse has extensive experience in data management, strategy, and governance. Rick began their career as a PeopleSoft Implementation Consultant at Sierra-Cedar, where they worked on full life-cycle implementations for various industries. Rick then joined the Interpublic Group of Companies as the Director of HRIS Applications, where they led the merging and upgrading of two PeopleSoft HCM systems and managed database conversions. After that, Derse worked at Hewitt & Associates as a Delivery Consultant, specializing in the customization and implementation of the company's HCM product. Rick then joined HSBC as a VP of Data Management, overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive data management program. Most recently, Derse worked at Accertify as the Manager of Data Strategy and Governance, where they were responsible for managing all data and developing a data management program.

Rick Derse has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Rick also holds a Masters (Thesis) degree from the University of Notre Dame, specializing in the Psychophysiology of Work Effort and Organizational Behavior Management/Performance Engineering. Additionally, they have received a certification as a Human Resources Professional (PHR) from SHRM.
