Mark Rathwell has extensive experience in corporate communications, marketing, and public relations. Mark most recently served as the Corporate Communications Manager at Access Communications Cooperative Limited, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Marketing & Membership Officer at the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce from October 2022 to March 2023.

Before their role at the Chamber of Commerce, Mark worked as the Manager of Communications & Public Relations at Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) from July 2021 to October 2022. Mark also gained valuable experience as the Director of Marketing & Communications at the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan from August 2018 to July 2021. In this role, they successfully launched the organization's website, social channels, and brand. Mark also developed and executed marketing and communications strategies, managed agency relationships, and implemented social media strategies.

Prior to their work at the Cancer Foundation, Mark served as the Director of the Regina Pats Community Foundation from August 2017 to August 2018. Mark was responsible for establishing and launching the foundation, organizing board meetings, managing player appearances, and coordinating various events.

Mark began their career at the Regina Pats Hockey Club, where they held the position of VP of Communications from March 2015 to August 2017. In this role, they modernized the organization's marketing and communications practices, acted as a spokesperson, managed contracts, worked with media outlets, wrote communication materials, planned events, and developed the brand identities of "Pats Regiment" and "Join The Regiment".

Mark Rathwell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies, General from the University of Regina, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. More recently, in 2019 and 2020, they completed a Digital Marketing Certification at Blue Moose Media.
