John Shay

John Shay serves as a Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at AccessFintech since February 2025 and holds a similar position at Virtu Financial LLC since August 2012. Previously, John held the role of Former Chairman at Acadia and served as Former CEO of American Financial Exchange, LLC from April 2023 to January 2025. John’s extensive experience includes managing partnerships at Capital Market Services, Inc. and leadership roles such as Former Executive Chairman at TruSight. John has also contributed as Senior Advisor - Sales at Broadway Technology and SVP, Global Head of FICC at Nasdaq. Before entering leadership, John founded IDCG, LLC and served as Chief Marketing Officer. John began career at ICAP, where various positions in Voice and Electronic businesses were held. John Shay earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School between 1999 and 2001.
