Vladimir Kats

Vladimir Kats has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Vladimir currently works as a Scrum Master at Access Softek since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Agile at Digital Academy at Innotech, a large FinTech company, where they created and maintained the vision and portfolio of Agile educational programs. Vladimir participated in key decisions as part of the Academy senior management and provided consulting and coaching on Agile practices.

Before joining Innotech, Vladimir worked as an Agile Coach at Sberbank, one of the largest European banks, from August 2016 to February 2022. In this role, they helped units of 100-1000 people in the bank and other organizations with their Agile transformations, including audits, consulting, roadmaps, trainings, and facilitation of key events such as kick-offs and PI Plannings.

Prior to their tenure at Sberbank, Vladimir held the position of Process Architect at Sberbank-Technology from April 2014 to August 2016. Vladimir also worked as an Information Technology Business Partner at VTB from December 2011 to April 2014.

Earlier in their career, Vladimir was a Project Manager at Kaspersky from December 2009 to May 2011, where they successfully managed multiple projects and received recognition for one of them. Vladimir also served as a Senior Project Manager at Neoflex from June 2008 to December 2009, leading complex projects on regulatory reporting automation in a leading international bank in Russia.

Vladimir's career started as a Project Manager at R-Style Softlab from July 2004 to May 2008, where they gained experience in managing various projects. Prior to that, they worked as a C++ Developer and Chief Information Officer at Interstron from July 2001 to June 2004.

Throughout their career, Vladimir has demonstrated expertise in Agile coaching, project management, process architecture, and technology leadership.

Vladimir Kats began their education at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 1998 and graduated in 2003 with a Master of Science in Mathematics. Vladimir continued their education at MSU and completed an additional education program in Computer Science from 2002 to 2004. In 2018, they obtained a degree as an Erickson Professional Coach from Erickson Coaching International. The following year, from 2019 to 2020, they pursued a degree in ICC Professional Team Coaching from Coach-Liga. Additionally, Vladimir Kats has obtained several certifications, including ICP-ACC (ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching) from ICAgile in November 2022, Kanban Management Professional from Kanban University in June 2021, Kanban Maturity Model from Kanban University in May 2021, International Certified Team Coach from the International Coaching Community in June 2020, Professional Scrum Master II from Scrum.org in May 2019, Certified LeSS Practitioner from AgiliX Consulting in April 2019, Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in January 2019, The Inner Game of Life & Performance from The Inner Game School by Tim Gallwey in November 2018, Erickson Professional Coach (ACSTH) from Erickson Coaching International in September 2018, and Group Facilitation from the Facilitation Institute (facilitato.ru) in August 2017.
