Access4All Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Buffalo, New York, founded by Speech-Language Pathology graduate student Allison Barsi to promote inclusive communication and accessibility for all individuals. The foundation began as a small grassroots project called Access4EMS after Allison recognized the need for better communication tools for people who may struggle to communicate or experience sensory sensitivities in an emergency. Partnering with Orchard Park EMS, she created communication bags equipped with AAC boards, whiteboards, fidget tools, and noise canceling headphones to help first responders connect with those they serve. After the project’s success, it expanded into Access4All Foundation, Inc. in 2025. Today, the nonprofit aims to work with EMS, police, fire departments, hospitals, schools, and community organizations to provide inclusive communication tools and training, ensuring that every person, regardless of ability or circumstance, has the right to be heard and understood.
