ACCESS
Mosein Hussein is the director of ACCESS’ Human Resources Department. He brings with him a broad background in human resources in the nonprofit and private sectors nationally and abroad.
Since he joined ACCESS in 2005, Moe has brought the department into compliance with state and federal laws and has streamlined the recruiting process. He has also facilitated training for the organization, ensuring that professional and supervisory staff has the training they need to deal professionally with all types of managerial opportunities and challenges.
Prior to his work at ACCESS, Moe was the human resources manager at Lapeer Metal Stamping in Dearborn, after having worked in travel sales in Yemen. As a consultant with the U.S. embassy in Yemen, Moe’s responsibilities also extended to crisis and evacuation planning.
Moe attended the Yemen University in Sanaa, where he completed a degree in computer science. Among the extensive certification and training courses he has completed are: OSHA Compliance and Workplace Safety; Sexual Harassment, EEOC and Cultural Competency Awareness Training by Michigan Business Consultants and Development; Human Resources and the Law through Rockhurst University; and the Leadership Academy by Michigan Business Consultants.

ACCESS (Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services) has been serving the community for more than 47 years. Founded by a group of dedicated volunteers in 1971 out of a storefront in Dearborn’s impoverished south end, ACCESS was created to assist the Arab immigrant population adapt to life in the United States. Today, ACCESS is the largest Arab American community nonprofit in the United States. With 11 locations and more than 120 programs serving metro Detroit, ACCESS offers a wide range of social, economic, health and educational services to a diverse population.
