Derek Trimble

Derek Trimble is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software product management and innovation leadership. Currently serving as SVP of Software Product Management at Access | Information Management since January 2023, Derek also mentors founders and teams at the DCU FinTech Innovation Center. Previous roles include Vice President of Digital Solutions Product and Program Management at Iron Mountain, where Derek led the management of a $50M+ digital solutions portfolio, and CEO of JourneyGuide, where a viable business model was created and launched. Derek's background is further strengthened by a tenure at Sun Life Financial in various vice president roles, focusing on emerging markets and innovation analytics. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the MIT Sloan School of Management in Mechanical Engineering and Management, respectively.
