Tim Rout has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim started their career as a Principal Consultant at Evolve Software, where they managed the implementation of resource management software for professional services firms. Tim then joined Deem, Inc. as part of the Professional Services department, where they played a key role in product integration and API design. Tim later founded Endeka Group, Inc., a telecommunications firm focused on providing wireless data and streaming services to US government customers. Endeka Group was eventually acquired by Boingo Wireless, where Tim served as the Vice President of Government Services, responsible for scaling wireless telecommunications solutions for the US military and developing go-to-market strategies. In 2013, Tim became an Investor and Member of Tech Coast Angels, the largest angel investor group in the US, and also served as a mentor for startups in high-tech at CommNexus and CONNECT - San Diego. Tim's most recent role was as the CEO and Founder of AccessParks, a company they started in 2015.
Tim Rout obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona, where they attended between 1991 and 1995. Later, they pursued an MBA in the Management of Technology program at the University of San Diego from 1996 to 1998.
