Adrian Caleap

Adrian Caleap has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Adrian is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at AccessPay, where they contribute to a major project involving the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform. In this role, they are responsible for creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure in GCP and AWS, using Terraform extensively for deployments. Adrian also works with software development teams in a DevOps culture to deploy new applications and ensure their integration into the company's operational processes.

Prior to their current role, Adrian worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at Connect Childcare. Here, they successfully migrated all customer databases from old SQL servers to new, more performant servers with minimal downtime and disruption. Adrian also stayed up to date with infrastructure technology developments and introduced them to the business.

Before joining Connect Childcare, Adrian worked at S+B UK Ltd as a Design Engineer and later as an Estimator. Adrian was responsible for designing and estimating projects during their time there.

In addition to their formal education, Adrian has also obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2021, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in May 2021, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
