Alex Tan

Alex Tan is an experienced software engineer with a solid background in developing web-based systems and providing technical support. Alex currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at AccessPay since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kalibrate from November 2020 to October 2021.

Alex also has experience as a Contract Software Developer at Caredes Sdn Bhd, where they were responsible for developing a web-based inventory management system using ASP.NET and deploying it to AWS. Alex worked on various technologies including Jenkins, Web API, Angular, and Webpack. Their role lasted from December 2019 to September 2020.

Previously, Alex worked as a Technical Lead and Software Developer at Intechnica from September 2013 to October 2019. Alex Tan has a solid education history in the field of computer science and software engineering. In 2006-2007, they completed a foundation degree in Information Technology and Business at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology. Following this, from 2008 to 2011, they attended Staffordshire University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing with a focus on Software Engineering. After a few years, in 2012-2013, Alex pursued further studies at The University of Manchester, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Advanced Computer Science and Software Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Alex also obtained a certification in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 from the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services in July 2012.
