Rafael Sanchez

Rafael Sanchez is an experienced construction and infrastructure professional, currently serving as Vice President of Contracting - Bids & ADP at ACCIONA since January 2020, overseeing the Contracting Department for major infrastructure projects. Prior to this, Rafael held the position of Senior Director of Pre-construction and Bid Director for AFP/P3 Projects at Ferrovial Agroman Canada Inc. from 2011 to 2020, where responsibilities included pre-construction processes and strategic oversight of project budgeting and analysis. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Estimator at Chant Group, leading the Estimating Department, and as a Construction Estimator at Constructora Conconcreto, managing cost estimating across major divisions. Rafael Sanchez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito.
