Tim Orpen

Tim Orpen has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as the D&C Director for ACCIONA since September 2020, following a role as Operations Manager at Acciona Construction Australia. Prior to this, Tim Orpen held the position of Program Director for Western Sydney and Project Director for Lendlease from July 2016 to July 2022, where notable work included overseeing the NorthConnex project in Sydney. Tim Orpen also served as Project Director at Leighton Contractors from May 2009 to July 2016, and as Construction Manager at Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd from January 2003 to April 2009. Earlier career experience includes a role as Project Director at Murray & Roberts Civil Engineering Ltd from January 1990 to December 2002. Tim Orpen holds a Diploma in Project Management from the University of South Africa and a Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
