Chris Timbs

Vice President Global Brand Management & Guest Experience, Mercure at Accor

Chris Timbs has extensive experience in brand management and marketing within the hospitality industry, currently serving as Vice President of Global Brand Experience and Vice President of Marketing for Midscale Brands at Accor since July 2022. Previously, Chris held the position of Global Director of Product and Client Support at MurphyCobb & Associates Ltd from March 2021 to July 2022. A significant tenure at Hilton from March 2007 to September 2020 included various roles, culminating in the position of Director, Brand Management EMEA for Suites & Focused Service Brands. Chris began the career as a Market Research Executive at Reed Business Information and has held positions at REL Field Marketing and Sharps Bedrooms Ltd. Chris holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Business Studies with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Hertfordshire and recently completed a Mini MBA in Brand Management in 2023.
