Fran Carr

Fran Carr is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as HR Director for Managed and Franchised Hotels in the UK and Ireland at Accor since October 2010, Fran oversees operations across more than 220 hotels, ensuring alignment with various Accor brands. Previous roles at Accor include HR Director for Eco, Midscale & Premium Brands, as well as various HR Manager positions for Midscale and Upscale Brands and Novotel and Mercure managed hotels. Prior to joining Accor, Fran held the role of HR Project Manager at Thistle Hotels from March 2006 to September 2010, and was also an HR Project Manager at Queens Moat Houses Management GmbH for a decade. The hospitality journey began as a Graduate Trainee at Holiday Inn Club Vacations from June 1990 to June 1995. Fran holds a Bachelor's Degree in French and Economics from Kingston University and completed A levels and GCSEs at The Lady Verney High School.
