James Murphy

James Murphy currently serves as the Director of Operations for Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos at Accor South East Asia since January 2015. In this role, James also holds the title of Area General Manager for Bangkok, overseeing operations for multiple properties including the Cluster GM for Novotel and Ibis Bangkok IMPACT, comprising 967 keys. Previous positions include Area General Manager for Southern Thailand focusing on luxury hotel brands and General Manager of Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort, as well as Area General Manager for Central Vietnam with oversight of Novotel Danang Premier Han River, which has 430 keys. Prior to these roles, James worked as a Special Project Manager at Accor from August 2011 to July 2014. James holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of South Australia, earned between 1995 and 1996.
