Samir Arora is an experienced hospitality professional with a diverse career spanning multiple managerial roles in renowned hotel chains. Currently serving as the Cluster General Manager at Accor since July 2020, Samir oversees The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel and several other properties. Prior to this, Samir held positions such as General Manager of The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery from December 2016 to June 2020, where the resort was recognized as the UAE's first holistic wellbeing property. Previous experience includes roles at Wyndham Worldwide, Emaar Hospitality Group, Southern Sun Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where responsibilities ranged from Front Office Manager to Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Samir's educational background includes degrees in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, a Diploma in Management from the American University of Sharjah, and various hospitality-related diplomas from recognized institutions.
