Jake Smith

Jake Smith is from Syracuse, Utah, but spent most of his youth living on a US Army base in the Marshall Islands, where his father worked for a defense contractor. After moving back to the United States, Jake graduated high school and attended Utah State University, where he studied Computer Science.

Jake joined Accountix in 2007, during the early development of the Extreme Payroll System, bringing invaluable experience with C# and SQL application development. In 2009 Jake took over as Lead Developer and helped guide Extreme to release. Since 2012, Jake has been the co-owner and Chief Technology Officer with Accountix.
