Michael Gregory has a strong background in IT and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Michael started as a Technical Support Manager/Systems Administrator at Hawkins Research, Inc. in 2002, where they were responsible for managing internal computer and phone systems. Michael also took on the role of managing the technical support department, leading software testing and debugging projects, producing training material, and providing onsite training for customers. In 2004, they joined Computer Services, Inc. as an Enterprise Server Engineer, where they were part of a team responsible for maintaining and implementing high-availability web application servers and email systems. Additionally, they performed security and penetration testing and remediation for systems. In 2007, they joined Southern Illinois University as an IT Technical Associate, specializing in Windows Server administration and working with SharePoint, Exchange, and VMware. Michael also played a key role in network design and the implementation of network and systems in the newly built Saluki Stadium and renovated SIU Arena. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Southern Illinois Healthcare, where they held roles such as ITS Engineer III and System Engineer IV. In these roles, they focused on Windows Server administration, Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and management of clients for Epic. Michael also worked with F5 Big-IP devices, ServiceNow, Remote Desktop Services, Web hosting, and file and print servers. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Accuray as a Product Integration Engineer.

Michael Gregory obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Systems Management from Murray State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications. In January 2016, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional. Later in November 2016, they obtained the certification as an Epic Client Systems Administrator, specializing in Epic 2015 platforms. Most recently, in June 2019, Michael completed the Imprivata OneSign Administration certification program.
