Martin Doherty is a highly motivated Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in complex engineering projects, having worked with BAE Systems Naval Ships and Rolls-Royce. Currently, Martin serves as the Head of Aircraft Noise, Vibration & Acoustic Fatigue at ESDU, where they are responsible for strategic planning, research, and development, as well as managing a team of experts. Martin has specialized knowledge in aircraft noise, aeroacoustics, and gas turbine design, and has contributed to significant projects, including the Type 26 Global Combat Ship and the UltraFan demonstrator noise activities. They hold a degree from The University of Glasgow and are driven to become a world-renowned technical specialist.
