Bob King

Bob King is the owner and operator of Seaboard ACE Hardware in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, a successful multi-million dollar retail hardware and paint store since 2006. King has extensive experience in various industries, having served as a residential real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Advantage, where annual sales exceeded $10 million, and as president of both King Construction Company and CIDCOR, focusing on residential and commercial development, respectively. Earlier career roles include branch manager for Reliance Electric Corporation, overseeing elevator and escalator sales and installations, and a commissioned officer in the US Navy, serving as a Naval Flight Officer during the Vietnam War. Additionally, King serves on the Boards of Directors for First Benefits Insurance Mutual, Inc. and the NC Retail Merchants Association. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Maryland.
