John Burge

John Burge has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and operations fields. John most recently worked at Aceable, where they held the positions of Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Senior API Engineer, and API Engineer from 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they worked at OwnLocal as a Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and at Wikibuy as an Operations Specialist from 2015 to 2016. John also has experience at Sony DADC and Sony Network Entertainment Int'l, where they served as an Encoding Operations Supervisor and Lead Compression Operations Specialist respectively. Additionally, they worked at Technicolor as a Digital Media Content Team Lead and at SyncCast as a Media Content Team Lead.

John Burge's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Television/Radio from Biola University, which they completed in 2006. John then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology from 2008 to 2012. In 2014, John attended General Assembly for a brief period to study Back-End Web Development.
