Wei Zhou

Wei Zhou has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1996, Zhou worked as a General Manager at Las Rocas Supermarkets until 2000. Zhou then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, joining Amgen in 2005 as a Solution Developer, later becoming a Business Analyst, and then an IT Project Lead and Program Manager until 2013. At Amgen, Zhou also served as the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management from 2014 to 2019, where they led cross-functional teams and managed product launches, demand and supply planning, and the implementation of the Integrated Business Planning Process. From 2019 to 2022, Zhou worked at Atara Biotherapeutics as the Director of CMC Program Management and Strategic Planning, overseeing global regulatory filings, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing a team of Operations CMC Program Leads. Currently, Zhou is the Head of Global Supply Chain, External Manufacturing, and Program Management at Acelyrin, Inc., where they are responsible for building supply chain capabilities, managing external suppliers, and overseeing CMC Project Managers and Product Technical Operations Leads.

Wei Zhou attended USC Marshall School of Business from 2006 to 2009 and obtained an MBA. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they studied at UCLA where they earned a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics. In 2015, they pursued further education at APICS and obtained an APICS - CPIM certification. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a PMP certification from PMI.
