Dr. Rainer Janssen is a Partner at ACENT, where they focus on IT strategy, innovation management, and digitalization. They studied mathematics and computer science, earning a doctoral degree from the University of Kaiserslautern. With extensive experience at IBM, where they directed the European Networking Center, and at Munich Re as CIO, Rainer has significantly influenced IT innovation in various industries. They have also served on multiple advisory boards and have been recognized as CIO of the Year in 2008 and a member of the German IT Hall of Fame in 2014. Since 2006, Rainer has lectured in Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich.
