Kristen Murphy is the Sustainability Lead at Acentech, bringing 15 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. With a strong foundation in architectural acoustics, Kristen is passionate about sustainable building practices and is a LEED AP and WELL AP. They have held various roles, including as an acoustical consultant at Acoustics By Design, and have contributed to research in acoustic and psychoacoustic domains as a research assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Kristen holds a Master of Science in Architectural Acoustics and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan. In their free time, they volunteer with community arts organizations and enjoy plein air painting outdoors.
